OPERATIONAL INFORMATION FOR RUNATOLIA MARATHON 03.03.2021
Kit distrubition

• 2021 Runatolia Kit distribution, T - Shirt, Bag and Chip operations will be carried out on the Terracity AVM terrace on March 5 and 6, 2021

• It is obligatory to wear a mask when entering the area.

• HES code query and temperature measurement will be made.

• For kit delivery, the time frame is given according to the athlete's chest number

• Registration area layout and Kit operations will be carried out in accordance with Turkey Athletics Federation as part of the social distance rules

• Disinfectant points will be created in the area.

For those who cannot comply with the above hours due to transportation, the kit will be delivered between 19.00 - 20.00 on Saturday.

Before start

• Due to the pandemic, the Glass Pyramıd(Cam Piramit) carpark with a wider area will be used as a warm - up and meeting area before start as required by athlete health and social distance rules

• All athletes will be taken in the field before start by body temperature measurements at entrance.

• Families of athletes or their relatives will not be taken in this field.

• In waiting area, athletes will meet in sections divided according to the distance that they compete.

• Before start, athletes from each category will be directed to the start point in groups of 100 people

• All athletes in the start area will wear a mask.This is obligatory

• Masks will be dropped in the trash boxes after starting

Start

• According to the social distance rules, the athletes will take their place in the start area by leaving 1.5 mt space as warning signs shows on the ground.

• There will be 6 athletes ın every row and every 5 seconds 6 athletes will take start.

• Wheeled chairs for the disabled marathon will start at 08.45, marathon at 09.00, half marathon at 09.15 and 10k – 10k team run wıll start at 09.45.

After the Race

• After the race, the sittıng layout will be prepared under the social distance rules.

• Help stations will be placed at the ending points of the race and athletes will take water or previously packaged food from their table themselves.

• After the race, masks will be delıvered to all athletes.

• The medals will be given in closed packages to the athletes

• Due to the Turkish Federatıon of Athletics rules, shower and massage service will not be available.

Help Stations

• For marathon and semi - marathon water, orange, apple and banana will be served and for the 10k, water will be served at the stations

• The athletes will take the products themselves from the tables.

• Sponge will not be given in stations in terms of hygiene, due to the pandemic.

• Disinfectant shall be available at every station.

• Own beverages will not be accepted due to the rule by Turkish Federation of Athletics

Award Ceremony

• According to the pandemic and social distance rules, only in general classification of marathon, half marathon, 10k and 10k team run award ceremony will be organized for athletes who were in the top 3

• The awards of the first three in age groups will be delivered by carg

For those who cannot come to the above hours due to transportation, the kit will be delivered between 19.00 - 20.00 on Saturday.
10K Team Run participants can receive their kits between 10.00 - 20.00.
Information for Runatolia date 10.02.2021

Dear Participant;

As a result of our ongoing meetings with the authorities, it is decided to continue Runatolia on the planned 7 March 2021.

With the confidence given by the 16 - year stable history of the Runatolia Marathon, with the common sense of our participant profile and the compliance with the measures, as the physical conditions allowed by Antalya and if there will no any additional measures taken by authorities, we will continue our event as planned.

We would like to bring to your attention 2 issues in this regard.

1-Weekend curfew and travel restriction:

Referring to the decision of Turkish Athletics Federation and the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, if restrictions continue on 5-7 March 2021 the week, our participants are required to obtain individual athletes license.

This license is necessary for them to be able to do outdoor training during restricted hours, obtain a travel permit, be exempt from curfew and participate in the event.

"Individual Athlete License" valid for 1 year can be obtained free of charge from the Provincial or District Youth and Sports Directorates with the following documents:

- Copy of identity card

- Two photos

- A document of "available to do sports" from health centre, hospital, or doctor

Athletics Federation of Turkey, demands this Individual Athletes License due to pandemic restrictions as in other events.

2- Covid measures to be taken:

the number of participants is limited within the scope of covid measures

Kit distribution

• 2021 Runatolia Kit distribution, T-Shirt, Bag and Chip operations will be carried out on the Terracity AVM terrace on March 5 and 6, 2021 (if Terracity AVM is out of service due to weekend restrictions, kits will be distributed in Cam Pyramid and 1 week before the race.It will be announced on our website and social media accounts.)

Pasta Party

Due to the rules of Turkish Federation of Athletics, there will be no pasta party this year in Runatolia.
